Cellular organelles are membrane-bound compartments inside cells. Each organelle has a specific
function that it performs for the cell. Malfunction of one of these organelles can have disastrous
consequences to the organism as a whole. Choose a disease caused by a defective organelle and
research it. If you like you may choose one of my suggestions. You may also choose your own but it
must be caused by a defective organelle.
