Writer’s choice
The focus may be on whatever topic you find interesting. (ie: Donuts in the American diasporas, skateboards, race relations in Brazil). Structure Provide an introduction, informing the reader of your theme, briefly give some general background, etc. For each article, lay out their argument, claims, methods, data, and conclusion. Provide a critique: were you convinced by their claim, what may be missing from analysis, etc. Be thoughtful, but fair. Finally, synthesis these ideas. What is the bigger picture? What do you learn with these articles together? What key concepts bridge them?
