Each day we make many decisions, yet very infrequently do we reflect on all of the variables that influence them. One significant decision you made was to attend SFA. Using the models discussed in the chapter, explore and describe your decision-making process including the model which best supports how the decision was made. Also, if you really didn’t make a decision (e.g., I came here because I couldn’t move out of Nacogdoches) you should discuss the decision-making process and model you used to select your major. If that too was somehow selected for you, please email me (include in your email how/why you were not able to make decisions about attending SFA and selecting your major) and we’ll collaborate to find another decision you could discuss. The response should be about 1.5 – 2 pages (double spaced) in length that includes a discussion of your decision. The response should include at least one scholarly reference beyond the textbook in support of a substantive point in your response. If you are not sure whether a reference is scholarly, try using Google Scholar or Psychology Today as possible places to find such scholarly research. Finally, your reference must not be more than 10 years old (and should be APA formatted both in-text and in the references section.
