If you are brave enough visit more than one kind of store that carries playthings. 1. Compare and contrast the displays with the resources you viewed. Name the store. a. What did you see? b. What were your immediate reactions after having read through the resources? c. Was there a moment of awareness after having viewed the resources? d. Were there some toy choices that aligned with our readings and resources? e. Look through your program. Are there areas that you would now like to change? Describe. If you are not currently working in a program, what pitfalls do you hope to avoid? What would be your dream? Part 5: Loose Parts: Inquiry a. Compare and contrast the Loose Parts in this section with the store displays during your visit. b. Reflect on the Gender Identity and Fairness Goals pgs. 201-203 of Early Learning Theories. i.
