The assigned drugs listed below will likely be a novel medication that has recently come onto the market within the past couple of years. You will have the opportunity to research the drug (using empirical sources such as Drugs.com, DailyMed and/or your textbook) in order to understand the use (2 empirical sources cited), mechanism of action, dosing and any important side effect considerations. Each student will prepare a 1-2 page patient education handout (in patient friendly language) for submission via Sakai. The handout will cover important information about the drug that might be a valuable source of psychoeducation for a patient who is prescribed the drug for the first time. For full credit, make sure that you are using a credible source and address all of the following points:
