Consider when the author wrote the article and its larger social-historical context (the Introductory sections of the chapter will help with this) and explain how it says something significant about social inequality in the U.S. Part 2 Each week’s forum will require you to perform the following tasks, based on our required reading in The Social Construction of Difference and Inequality(I uploaded). First, read all the articles(#32) Next, in a paper, choose ONE of the articles and summarize its key points. The summary for these readings should longer and more in-depth than the discussion forums for The Age of Inequality. For each of these reading responses: 1.Summarize 2 or 3 central points made in the reading 2.Discuss the types of evidence or research the authors use in making their argument (statistics, history, interviews, personal anecdotes, etc.) 3.Your response to the reading: Do you find the arguments and evidence convincing? What does the reading make you think about? 4.Answer one of the “Questions for Critical Thinking” included at the end of each reading, following the References.
