This year she will complete her CAC II (certification and hours for drug addiction) and the classes will be completed for the License Addiction Counseling. In three years, these hours will be completed. This year she will take the master’s addiction exam and the clinical boards exam for the license clinical social work. She hopes to become certified to become an Equine therapist.Successful transitions from specialist to a generalistAs stated before, this writer works by checking off the tasks list and building relationships. Therefore, setting and implementing agendas like taking responsibility, building, and using organizational structures, thinking strategically, and engaging in innovative problem-solving (Gothard, Carnochan, Regan, Samples, & Austin (2012). Also, handling relationships like dealing with people over whom you have no authority, negotiating political situations, understanding other perspectives, dealing with conflict, directing-motivating-evaluating-developing subordinates, and managing up to senior management (Gothard et al.,2012). Finally, demonstrating that this writer utilizes the core values rooted in self-awareness.The challengesThis writer will face many challenges when working with others in the community. However, she has the experience because she has been a part of several community projects. She will have to develop her administration skills and strategic plans for the organization and the departments she heads.ConclusionThis writer’s future goals are abundant and to strengthen her abilities and therapeutic skills, it involves more training from accredited institutions.
