Describe the entrepreneurial and innovation ecosystems in the Bay Area.

This course was designed to be a deep dive into the people, places, and finances that make up the unique entrepreneurial ecosystem of the city. The course was structured around guest lectures and company visits with key players in the recent and extended history of business success. It is understood that the format of the second half of the visits had to change as a result of the coronavirus. Your feedback on this impact will be asked in a separate assignment. For purposes of this assignment, you are asked to consider the visits on their merits, not their formats per se. Please write a treflection that answers the following questions:Describe the entrepreneurial and innovation ecosystems in the Bay Area. What are some of the factors that contribute to the success of this city? Pick at least three companies that we visited that come from different industry (i.e., robotics, digital marketing, incubator) and talk about how they can relate to each other. What was your favorite company visit, and why? What visit was least helpful, and why?How have you seen SF and the bay Area transform in light of the coronavirus/shelter in place/ etc.?
