We are living in a particularly difficult and unprecedented moment in the world right now. Existing political and economic tensions have been exacerbated by a deadly global pandemic. Based on your experience in this course, how would you explain the importance of learning about and understanding globalization in a time like this? How might this knowledge help to counteract the possibility for misunderstanding, discrimination, and even violence? How would an understanding of globalization allow for greater cooperation and the possibility for positive change?
