How has your own peer group impacted your decisions in the past? Is peer pressure more intense as you age or less intense? Why?In each discussion forum, students are expected to respond to the prompt by providing an informed, rigorous, and professional post. In addition, students are required to respond at least 2 times to their classmates’ posts in a similarly informed, rigorous, and professional manner. As a kid we are placed in a school environment that we have no choice but to attend. Peer pressure creates stress and a desire to please the people in your age group. This pressure is more common in adolescent groups because maturity is not completely developed. As adults we experience pressure is different ways, but it is still peer pressure. There might be a stigma in a work environment that causes an individual to experience pressure to conform to the actions of others to get ahead in a position. As adolescents we lack experience in dealing with stress and pressure from our peers. As adults we make decisions that will place us in specific environments.
