In Stuart Greene’s article, he writes that “it is useful to think about writing as a form of inquiry in which you convey your understanding of the claims people make, the questions they raise, and the conflicts they address. As a form of inquiry then, writing begins with problems, conflicts, and questions that you identify as important” (32). For this first step in your research project, your goal is to identify a conversation you can listen to (your framework) and discuss an initial question you can explore within that conversation.
