he project scope describes what Project Scope statements vary. One size does not fit all.A scope statement can take the form of a high-level project summary targeted for management, which then will be further detailed in the BPP for use primarily by the projectdevelopment team. Or, a scope statement can be more specific and serve as a basis of a formalcontract agreement including major milestones, costs, specifications and the like. [A basic template for a scope statement is found in V & G, Chap 5, Figure 5-10.] Among the items of information in a generic Scope statement are: Project Assumptions, Project Constraints, Project Exclusions, Project Deliverables/Estimated Dates, Acceptance Criteria, Project Scope description and Objectives, Resources.
