Discuss An Anthropologist in Mars.

The student is required to prepare a Final Paper consisting of 8 page narrative summarizing one of the seven paradoxical tales from Oliver Sacks’ An Anthropologist on Mars. Students should succinctly cover the clinical picture of the disease, the neurophysiological correlates, its assessment, and treatment. Part of the paper will require that the student also research outside reference materials in the form of scientific journal articles, books, media reports and web sites. The additional purpose of this assignment is to increase the student’s familiarity with research for psychology and informational databases. The student will use the research findings in the description of the chosen tale. The student is required to use a minimum of five (5) references in researching his or her chosen paradoxical tale from Sacks’ book. Of course, students may use as many references beyond this minimum number of five. These five required articles should have been published within the past ten (10) years.
