Discuss how music in Iran was affected by Western culture and how people evolve in listening to it.

Students are required to write a research paper on a topic related to the course and turn it in by the Monday of week 11 via Canvas. The topic may be varied but it has to be related to Music of Iran. Students are required to have at least 2 cited sources in their paper (Wikipedia is NOT counted as a source) and it must be from a published book, article, newspaper, journal or a reviewed webpage. While the paper must be typed and proof read before submission, students are not graded on the format or grammar.
