Discuss the Constitution of India.

Answer the questions:1) Why did I have you read selections from the Constitution of India? Hint: it has to do with its Supreme Court and attempts to define ‘Hinduism’ or ‘Hindu’.2) Aristotle’s ethics falls into the category of normative theories called virtue ethics. It is a character-based account of ethics. The focus is not on what I ought to do or ought not to do in a particular situation, but is, instead, on the kind of person I ought to be.In general, the goal is happiness. But, don’t be mislead by that term. The Greek word there, ‘eudaimonia’, translates better to “human flourishing.” In other words, what does it take to flourish as a human being? To flourish as a human being–not as a teacher, or as a student, or as a trader, or as a football player–but, to be an excellent human being, what kinds of moral traits should I have? What do those traits look like? He mentions a few in the reading. But…What character traits are virtues that Aristotle may not have mentioned? Do they fit his pattern of “excess” and “deficiency?” If they are moral virtues, they should! What do you think of virtue ethics? Do we care about the kind of person you are on the inside or do we only care that you do the right thing? Is there a place for virtue ethics?3) What do you think about “An Inquiry into the Nature and Causes of the Wealth of Nations” Adam Smith? What is so special about it? What surprises you?
