This group has been tasked with improving the health of a population group in your Adopted Country. You can choose the population and the health issue. It can be a problem that has been known for some time or it can be one that is starting to become a larger problem. (You will need to Investigate the health issues associated with your Adopted Country and specific populations within your country as well as your country’s healthcare system.) Your unique job as a member of this working group is to historically clarify to the group how the health concern came to be a problem or is coming to be a bigger problem. Your job is then to contribute the professional insights necessary to help the group determine in what areas cultural change may be needed to improve this public health problem and to make cultural recommendations regarding the best ways to move forward before any public health plans are solidified for your Adopted Country.
