In May of 2021 you graduated from Albright with a degree in Biochemistry (minor in Physics), and a job at a research lab. Ten years later your life has gone seriously off course. Your youngest child, age 6, is writing her annual letter to Santa – while wearing her Harry Potter robes. Your older son – omniscient at 11 – is threatening to tell her about “the real” Santa. Problem solved you send two work e-mails about a chemical formula you’ve been developing for months. You then sit down to watch Star Wars 15 – again. An hour later your daughter asks you to read her “Elmo goes to the Dentist” again while Sesame Street plays in the background. She asks you if Santa visits Elmo and his friends, too, and you assure her that he does. You also make a mental note to order her the Hogwarts Castle Playset she was begging Santa for, along with the magic tricks set her older monster – uh, brother – wants, and of course, that just released “Loch Ness Monster Takes Manhattan” video that you’ve been awaiting for weeks.
