Discuss Safe Patient Handling and Mobility.

The purpose of this manual (report) is to develop a comprehensive employee training guide for all Rogue Regional Medical Center (RRMC) staff who are directly involved in Safe Patient Handling and Mobility (SPHM), i.e. RN, CNA2, surgery aide and Transportation Tech. Since the safety of the patients is the utmost priority, this manual will detail the proper standards and guidelines governed by Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to understand and properly use patient lift equipment and other assistive devices, thereby ensuring the maximum safety for all patients and staff.
