Assessment Scenario: You recently started a new job in your country at a small import-export business. The company would like you to work for 6 months of the year in Australia and the other 6 months of the year based in your home country. Whilst in Australia, your company would like you to promote its unique products to the Australian market. Additionally, you will be required to research new potential products to export to your home country. To achieve these goals, you must develop a broadly based business network. As you are new to Australia and know very few people, a large part of your role will require you to build a network of businesses and colleagues here. This network will help you to expand your contacts in Australia and also assist you to better understand the cultures within the multicultural country.
