What you will prove is that your chosen chapter is says the same things the book as a whole is saying, makes the same overall point, comes to the same conclusions. I say “a version” of this idea because what that overall point is, well, that’s up to you. There’s a lot going on in the book, as it’s potentially about growing up, learning about the larger world, coming to terms with the our parents’ humanity, learning important lessons, dealing with the increasingly turbulent 1960’s, solving a murder, understanding friendship and bravery and evil and love and freedom and on and on.So, you choose a chapter and tell me how that chapter demonstrates what point the author is making with this book.
