After reading this chapter, do you think that this experience is actually a “sexual dysfunction” or possibly a dissatisfaction based on an unrealistic expectation of what sex should be like? Did you talk to your partner about the disappointment?2) If you had a sexual function difficulty, how comfortable would you be in seeking help from a sex therapist?. Given that condoms are one of the most important measures for reducing the risk of STI transmission and that many young people do not like condoms, what can be done to make condom use more appealing?3). What would be your most important concern if you just learned you had an STI? Who would you tell? What resources would you need? And where could you go to get help?4). Would it be difficult for you to inform a past sexual partner that you have an STI and that he or she might have it too? What would be your “opening line” to get the discussion started?
