All orthodox Christian theologies have been influenced by literature that is written about the Bible and theology, and students should have the basic knowledge of it for future study and research. With the advent of digital information, the access to such literature is more available than ever and can be used by students in their ministry as you come to an appreciation for orthodox Christian truth. Some of this literature is in prose form found in books and articles. Other forms are poetry and lyrics for songs.Review three hymns (from a hymnal, or online) that have Creation as their theme. Complete a brief comparison of the ideas in these hymns with the section on “The Works of God” in Baker (or another Systematic Theology text). Also include in your analysis the story of creation in Genesis 1 & 2.Submit a journal of 3-4 paragraphs discussing your findings.
