The first role-play will be to demonstrate skills in introducing, explaining, and teaching behavioral therapy skills. The second role-play will be to do the same, but with a cognitive skill. For each role-play, the client will be Mitra.For this week, you will focus on behavior therapy and assisting Mitra with understanding the concepts of behavior therapy. Your goal is to explain the target issue and to introduce Mitra the concept of behavior therapy in addressing her identified problem.* You can select the issue you wish to focus on, however, make sure it is a problem that was listed in Mitra’s case study.* As the therapist, you should select one concept from behavior theory. For example, ABC’s of behavior, operant conditioning, or classical conditioning to explain Mitra’s target issue.* Additionally, you should select one method from your textbook and behavior therapy to teach Mitra a behavior skill.The issue to study will be her insomnia, and there will be two actors, the therapist and the client. So this will be a script writing The role-play should:1. Provided a clear connection between the skill and how it will address the presenting issue;2. Clearly explained and taught the skill;3. Accurately demonstrated and presented the skill;4. The skill chosen skill was appropriate given the presenting issue;5. The skill demonstrated was consistent with the subject of the week (either behavioral therapy or cognitive therapy)6. Discussed a concrete plan for how the client would practice this skill as homework7. Provided time and space for the client to ask questions;8.
