1. In chapter 6, Hendrix writes, “Most of us know more than we choose and will to do. A problem in understanding may not be lack of knowledge but lack of will. In this case additional knowledge does become irrelevant, because no complete understanding is possible. This does not mean that the knowledge itself is irrelevant, only that, for us, it cannot become useful knowledge until we are ready to act on it.” (p. 109-110).
