Intelligence can be tested in many ways. Usually we hear about IQ scores as to the intelligence of a person. but, the intelligence quotient (IQ) tends to obscure more than it reveals! How do you define intelligence and what other areas do we need to consider. For example, Dr. Robert Jarvic (inventor of the artificial heart) is extremely intelligent. But, based on United States med school admissions, he was denied at several and ended up in Italy for his medical degree. Dr. Jarvic’s intelligence was creativity. Please use the textbook to support your post. Gardner, Simon-Binet, Sternberg, Wechsler are just a few pioneers in the area of intelligence testing.
