(1)In recent years, the National Football League (NFL) has been attempting to make the game safer for players because of the increase in concussions and reports of chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), a neurodegenerative disease caused by repeated head injuries. As a part of making the game safer, an important aspect is early detection of head and brain trauma. What types of neuropsychological tests would you recommend to help detect early signs of head and brain trauma in players? How would you feel about members of your family playing football? What steps would you take to protect or assist them?(2) f you were given the budget and the staff to carry out one experimental study, what would you propose to investigate, and why? What would your hypothesis be?(3)It is important to build healthy self-esteem in children as they are growing up so they can become confident adults. Many parents and teachers do this by rewarding children when they do something correctly, or when they have put a lot of effort into a task. Are there situations, however, in which it would be better not to reward a child? Reflect on a situation in which you felt that a reward was inappropriate.
