This week you will explore the current issues related to Covid-19 and medical research. As you have probably read or may be have even experienced, there is significant research occurring with Covid-19 immunizations, drug and plasma trials, issues surrounding mental health with the disease. With the impact on the economy and the virus there has been changes to funding and policies. You will participate in a discussion broad exploring Issues, Trends, Policy, Regulations, and Ethics in response to Covid-19. Choose a specific issue surrounding COVID-19 that is of interest to you. Provide background information regarding the specific issue so your classmates have an understanding. Then find a research article from a peer reviewed journal on that topic. Provide a brief summary of what you learned. Then explore healthcare policy, regulations, and/or funding that has impacted the COVID-19 crisis and your specific issue.
