To what extent is there a percentage difference in North Carolina’s length of time in custody for child maltreatment based on age, gender, and race for the years July 2014 – July 2019?

Using Hirschi’s Social Bond Theory as a theoretical framework for a research paper. Hirschi distinguishes four different forms of social bonds and their influence on social control: attachment, commitment, involvement and belief. The theoretical framework for this study will help to explain the phenomenon of child maltreatment based on the factors of age, gender, and race. Child neglect and abuse, which result to maltreatment of the children, will be the deviant acts described using this theory. Research Questions The following research question will guide the study:1.RQ1.
