There has been a great deal of speculation about who came first to the Americas, and how. We know that humans first came to the Americas between 10-13,000 years ago. But we are not sure where they came from and how they got here. What do you think is some of the most compelling evidence (from the book and the other course materials) to help answer this question? 2) Why do you think some “mysteries” from the past (for instance, a lost race of Moundbuilders, Atlantis, or Ancient Aliens) continue to persist in spite of evidence to the contrary?
