Is it less/not abusive if it doesn’t?)Topic choice #2: How do larger social forces, such as the Covid-19 pandemic, affect family dynamics that can lead to higher incidences of abuse? Explain, using specific examples from the text and other assigned readings. How do these same forces make the systems set up to address abuse less effective? Based on your own experience and observations in the pandemic, what suggestions do you have to help families deal with these stressors and to protect children in danger?Topic choice #3: What does it mean to be a “mandated reporter”? Explain and describe (in your own words) what is required of mandated reporters under MN Statute. Although these laws exists throughout the country, many cases of child abuse still are never reported. Why?
