Uncategorized Assignment-helpAs an experienced Agile Project Manager you have been employed by Jones Logistics to lead the transformation from the traditional approach to Project Management to Agile Project Management (PM).The shift to Agile PM has come about as the previous Project Manager (who has now left the company) kepttight control over all project information and operated in what could be best described by the users as an “adhoc manner”. While the previous Project Manager completed four (4) successful projects in a 2-year period, the IT Director has stated that the project team’s morale is very low and the users were very unhappy withthe previous Project Manager’s lack of interest regarding their participation in these projects. This led to muchfrustration within the senior management team at Jones Logistics and has provided the motivation for themove to Agile PM.Your first project, and hence the first Agile project, at Jones Logistics has an expected duration of 8 months, isabout to start the Conceptualization and Initialization phase. At this point there are 9 team members withvarying levels of experience (3 months to seven (7) years). As an experienced Agile Project Manager you knowthe equivalent phase in an Agile PM is the Envision phase. You will meet your project team for the first time at 8am tomorrow.
