Directions:Select an author and discuss ways in which the author’s work reflects or questions one of his/her country’s cultural traditions.Include:-author’s biographical information-author’s position and contribution to country of origin-key ideas and passages from author’s work that support your thesis-Conduct research to gather information about the cultural traditions in question-Develop a thesis about how the author reflects or questions tradition.-Organize the research in an outline format; reevaluate and revise the working thesis and outline as needed based upon research.-Arrange your notes (quotations, paraphrases, and summaries) in a logical order: biographical, author’s position and contribution, and passages from the author’s work.-Explain each piece of evidence; offer information and analysis that assist the reader in understanding your point.
