Uncategorized Assignment-helpBelow is my Teacher Instructions: Respond to two of your classmate’s posts.(1) I was thinking about this a lot. I initially thought that the car manufacturer should be responsible for the actions of the car. Then I thought about how a dog will bite someone, and the owner is responsible, or a roof leaks, and it’s the owner’s responsibility to fix it. I think that the owner of the car should be responsible for accidents and repairs. It also scares me a lot that I would not have control of something. Placing our trust in technology is something that I feel a lot of people would do way too quickly. One really should weigh out the pros and cons when it comes to technology. (2) I think driverless cars are a neat concept, and I like the Tesla car. It would be nice to be driven around and not have to do anything. However, I don’t know if I feel comfortable not having physical control of something. If an accident was to occur, I’m not sure who should be held liable. I guess the car manufacturing company—something for the attorney to figure out. I remember years ago a driverless vehicle, possibly a Tesla that didn’t have updated software, and the car drove into the back of a Semi-truck, causing a fatality due to it believing the color white was not a potential hazard. I still don’t know how I feel about not being in control of a motor vehicle at all times or any driverless motor-operated software system.
