Uncategorized Assignment-helpSelect three episodes of any of the CSI franchises, NCIS franchises, Law and Order franchises, Bones, Hawaii Five-O, Dexter, or Cold Case. (A) Give the name of the show, the season, the episode and the name of the episode (for instance, CSI: Miami, Season 9, Episode 14, “Stoned Cold”). (B) Watch the episode. Take note of instances where forensic methods are used – if possible, provide time marks for the beginning of the scene with the instance (whether or not you can rewind and get a time mark will depend on how you are accessing the episode, so just do your best). Identify and work with at least four instances, and at least one of these must be on in which the method was not done properly. (C) For each instance noted in part B, address the following: (1) Is the use of the forensic method represented properly, as far as you know from what we have covered in class or from some other reliable frame of reference you have? (2) If so, explain what about the application of the method was done correctly. or If not, explain how that method should have been done in reality. (4) Is it reasonable for the producers/director to have made the decision to depict the method in the way they did?Professor Notes: Of the 9 topics we covered in this course, eight (8) of them must be represented at least once among the three required individual V/Rs you do. For instance, if you find an example of blood-typing in the first episode you view, that takes care of Topic 06, and you don’t need to report any other instances dealing with serology in your other selected episodes. Because you are doing 3 episodes and discussing 4 instances of forensic methods for each, you will, of course, end up repeating several topics. It is acceptable to use two episodes for a given VR posting. That is, if you watch an episode of NCIS that has three instances, you can use another episode of NCIS (or some other franchise) to make your fourth instance for that VR posting.
