Information technology systems and networked operations systems are the facilitators of an information rich and globally connected society. We have become dependent on the benefits these systems provide but also are subject to risks associated with cyber-based threats. Hackers have been able to paralyze businesses and governments. Not only hackers, but natural disasters exacerbated due to poor planning. Safeguarding critical information and information systems that support the U.S. critical infrastructure is vital. What are the key issues in cyber security?
