Please refer to the course syllabus, addendum and essay grading guidelines regarding instructions and guidelines for completing the journal article summations (min 200/max 400 words). Tip: If you type, “free professional articles on (keyword or phrase)” into your Internet search browser it will call up numerous quality articles to review and summarize. Additionally, the ERIC database http://eric.ed.gov has some good articles to choose from; be certain to click the “Peer reviewed only” and “Full text available on ERIC” boxes. Another note is if the article does not note the credentials, often if you Google the author’s name, you will find their credentials to determine if they hold a Doctorate.
