If you agree or disagree state the reason why with specified resource. •300 minimum wordsPEER 1 – Brandy Thomas I am torn between two loves in my life, ice cream/baking and crafting. For my project I have been writing and creating a business plan to open up my own ice cream and sweet treat truck which are very popular in San Diego. I like the idea of a food truck because you can move your location and literally create a following, go to your customers. My favorite ice cream to make is a no churn which is a softer texture than churned ice cream. I can also do non dairy options as well so I can cater to a market. My organization would be called 1031 ice cream which refers to the Bible verse I also have as my mission statement which states “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God” 1 Corinthians 10:31. I like having this as a reminder of what I’m doing and my purpose to be able to get up everyday and use that gift to glorify God’s goodness. This being a small business I would need only a handful of people in this organization; one of the most important would be to have a business partner or valued manager who had similar goals and intentions, I would need employees who represented what our company stands for (compassion, kindness, and positive service). Between my partner/manager and myself we would be in charge of scheduling, running the books, answering emails and having a strong media presence. I would like my organization to be an invitation for ideas where we feel like a second family and it’s safe. For my crafting business, that would be a lot less people involved because I would be running it through Etsy. The people involved would then be the materials, myself (the crafter), Etsy with the fees for using their site and then the consumer. As far as planning for people in the organization it would be easier unless I chose to move to a store front or a franchise with multiple employees crafting at a large scale to meet demands.PEER 2- Sintiya MarkarianThe organization that I have in mind is an accounting firm that also offers financial planning and payroll and bookkeeping and anything else people would need to keep their business’s open. We will also make sure that we could be a one stop place for people that have a business but also have other matters such as their finances to handle. This organization will be built on trust and coming up with ways to make the process of filing taxes and running a business easier for everybody. The type of people I will include would be the type that will stick around long enough. This is important because their presence will make great relationships with everyday customers and they can help come up with ways to work more efficient but with less of the workload. If I want this company to be innovative, I need to make sure to have an open mind and listen to everybody in the business no matter where they stand. Also, the people that work for me need to be the type of people that could climb up the ladder that will give them a better standing in the office. It is also important to get people that are bright and are not afraid to think outside of the box to help you achieve better things.
