Review the following sample student paper and answer the following questions:What do you notice about the sample research paper? What are its strengths, and what might still need work? Does the thesis give a clear statement of what the paper will argue? Does each paragraph address a single main idea? What sorts of transitions does the author use? Ultimately, does this sample student paper meet the definition of a “good” literary research paper to you? Why or why not? Your response should include at least one direct quote from the paper. For example, you might identify the thesis statement, a sentence with effective transition between paragraphs, or even a sentence with issues or errors.
