It affects children where they suffer problems, developing an attachment with you as the parent or the primary caretaker. It is necessary to acknowledge the fact that young children at developmental stages have the most innocent feelings. They would not like it when they are not interested in something. At the same time, it would be clear when they are attached or associated with something. For a healthy child, it is expected that they develop an automatic attachment with the primary caretaker, the parent, and the guardian. As long as the person who is in charge shows some form of care, the child should automatically develop an instant connection of love and affection (Armstrong, 2016). When this fails to happen, it raises questions on whether the child is suffering from an affective disorder, or the primary caretaker is just mishandling them. Whose affections are disordered? The only security a child would have are the immediate people with whom they associate with. When a child is born, they would gradually learn to love and feel the affection of the closest person. It then becomes necessary for the individual in question to show the most tender love at such stages. Children will only feel free with the people who teach them love, time, and tenderness. For this case, it would be easily argued that children who display affection disorders may be easily induced (Armstrong, 2016). Not everyone has the patience of handling small kids. For this case, some people would end up messing the connection that exists with the child without even knowing. Some are just cruel, and due to their impatience, it becomes difficult to win the love and affection of a child. Young people do not know how to hate. They do not have personal feelings, and if they do, it is based on simple things that the primary caregivers can work to address and win their love back. There are exceptional cases where children with mild autism can easily display difficulties in developing this affection. However, a series of therapy sessions have proven right in addressing the concern (Mahdieh & Hassan, 2016). The social interaction of the child as it develops is also a significant concern. It comes down to the responsibility of the parent to ensure that they expose their children to the right environment to improve on their social skills. What are their affections disordered toward? There are children, especially at toddler stages who would cry if they saw a stranger. On the other hand, they would smile in the event they saw a familiar face they are used to. This form of disorder on the other hand does not display the same pattern. Children would be seen to show the rage against their parents or primary caregivers. The worst-case, at this point, is to avoid the situation (Mahdieh & Hassan, 2016). As a parent, one must act before it escalates to the older stages. Children may easily address their mild autism situations at such ages compared to when they have fully developed in grown-ups. Summary/Conclusion: Parents or primary caregivers have a major role in ensuring that they shape the social behaviors of their children at young ages. Basically, most parents have delegated their parenting duties to day-cares and caregivers. This situation has been cited as one of the greatest contributors to affection disorders. The caregivers may not display the same love as the actual parent may do. The end result is the lose of trust and love from the children as a result of the treatment they get. Most importantly, such children may develop an attitude towards their parents or close relatives as a result of feeling neglected. When they only have to see their parents only few hours of the day, they eventually loose trust, love, and the parental affection which is quite critical at tender ages.
