This grabs the reader’s attention.Using PICOT, construct a compelling clinical question to be addressed and help you research your topic.Develop a clearly stated desired outcome/s of practice change.Research the literature for evidence to address the clinical question and to support the desired outcome/s.Results of the search of the literature should include a minimum of five resources from professional journals, peer-reviewed journals, clinical guidelines, and other contemporary nursing, medical, management, or allied health sources.The search of the literature means selecting the best of the literature offerings in relationship to the issue at hand to review. Heirarchy of evidence is important as is the relevance of the results.Critically assess the five resources using appropriate criteria from the text.Summarize the findings of the five resources appraised, including pros and cons, utility, practicality, and relevance to the clinical question.Clearly identify one or more best practices based on the literature to propose for implementation.Address whether or not there are ethical or cultural considerations of the best practice you are recommending.Select a model for implementation and summarize the implementation proposal based on the model. You may want to base selection and use of the model on whether you are implementing the practice for your own patient care or for organizational / department implementation. Be sure you support this thesis throughout the paper.Conclusions should be justified from the literature. Sources for justification may be outside the five resources related to the evidence-based practice solution.
