Applying the knowledge acquired in the course, the students will develop a health promotion or disease prevention strategy targeted to a vulnerable population.Instructions: Select a vulnerable population or group – be specific. Describe that population using the ecological model (using all levels possible). Explain their vulnerability. Why can this population be considered vulnerable? What are their specific health needs, barriers, and challenges? What can you do as a pharmacist to decrease their vulnerability? Use the strategies learned in class (such as, but not limited to, health promotion, education, prevention, and at what levels) Design a health promotion or disease prevention strategy to address the health-related issues of that population from a pharmacist perspective.*** This can be done as creatively as the student prefers, such as uploading a video (e.g. interview style, documentary style, or presentation style), a PPT presentation, a descriptive or business proposal type document, etc. This project may to be done in groups of two or three, according to the final number of class enrollees.Grading Criteria:Originality 5 pointsApplication of correct vulnerability criteria according to theory 10 pointsFeasibility of intervention strategies 10 pointsIntegration of multidisciplinary healthcare professional team 5 points
