Compare and Contrast Political Thinkers.

The thinkers we studied during the first semester were Plato and Aristotle, and the thinkers we studied in the second semester were Machiavelli, Hobbes, and Locke. Lastly, my professor made it clear that the use of outside sources for this essay is strongly discouraged and that our papers will be assessed on how well we make our own case using the course texts (Plato’s Republic, Aristotle’s Politics, Machiavelli’s The Prince, Hobbes’ Leviathan, and Locke’s Second Treatise of Government).
