Here is a table from the Bureau of Labor Statistics giving unemployment numbers and rates (Links to an external site.) by broad industries.According to Statista, as of April 2020, the leisure and hospitality industry had the highest unemployment rate in the United States, at 39.3 percent. In comparison, workers in the financial activities industry experienced the lowest unemployment rate, at 5.4 percent.
