A nursing philosophy is a statement of your fundamental, foundational, and universal assumptions, beliefs, and principles about the nature of nursing. In lesson six you will write a paper about your own personal philosophy of nursing and compare your definitions with a selected nursing theory. For this lesson, you will begin to draw from your previous academic and work experiences to gather your information and thoughts to get organized. You will receive individual feedback from your instructor on your outline. The more details that you include, the more opportunity you will have for feedback. This will allow the paper writing process in a later lesson to go smoothly and timely. Please follow the outline below as a skeleton for your outline and paper. I have also provided a template at the end with more details to get you started.
