Write a policy Brief “Re-Launching Soda Tax Initiative in NYC

You run a PR firm, you were recently asked by New York City Mayor’s office to provide a PR campaign to support a proposed tax on drinks with high sugar content. The last time Bloomberg administration tried to launch this tax program it had failed (in 2010). Provide a one page speech the Mayor will use when he goes on the TV this week announcing the his proposal to retry the tax on sugary drinks. The speech is to be addressed to NYers and any data used in the speech must be verifiable (since right after the speech is over journalists may fact-check the mayor’s claims) so make sure you use footnotes for your sources.
