1. After reading the appendix of your textbook (in the back), go to the National Geographic website titled “Selecting a Map Projection” and view the video and read the info at the bottom of the page. Then write a letter to President Trump, or former President Obama if you prefer, discussing why one specific map projection would be best adopted by the EPA to discuss a certain issue. You may select the issue at your discretion; fracking, conservation of resources, national parks, endangered species (turtles, lions, etc.), crime analysis, lyme disease cases or anything that is an area where you have some personal interest.
