website and look over the list of artists. Select one artist who interests you. Thinking about this week’s topic, you might consider exploring an artist whose medium is performance, but it’s not required. The artist should be located in an international, under-represented area (i.e., Asia, Near East, South America, Africa, Native American, etc.) OR an artist whose art deals with gender issues. Look up the artist or ask your faculty if you are not sure your choice qualifies.
