Create a discussion thread in which you describe the companies closest to your home, the chemicals they release, and the hazards posed by those chemicals.

Go to the Toxics Release Inventory Program webpage.

In the search section at the bottom of the page, search by “Metropolitan Area” and select your Metropolitan Area or the nearest one to you. Scroll to the bottom of the page and review the “Top Five Establishments…” and the “Top Five Chemicals Released to Air and Water” for your metropolitan area. If you click on the company or the chemical it will tell you a little more information and has more sections for you to explore.
