Describe DNA Statistics Calculator Activity.

Use the attached Excel file to perform statistical calculations for the attached assignment (word doc). Please note that two alleles must be entered at each locus for both heterozygotes and homozygotes.

You have to calculate the frequency of the profiles in the word document that is attached using the excel sheet that is attached to the assignment (the excel sheet is the calculator and it is does the work). So if D8 is 15,15 on the Word document attached (like the first scenario), then using the excel sheet you type each allele into the gray area, so for D8 you type in 15 for “Allele (P)” and 15 for “Allele (Q)”. Some will not have all the information due to different circumstances of DNA work so you can see how that impacts the results (you leave those blank).
You do that for each locus and the bottom gives you the different numbers. You have to understand what is what and how the numbers are related to one-another.
