Please read CHAPTER 5: DESIGNERS AND TECNICIANS in Theatre, Brief by Robert Cohen pp. 80-133. In addition, watch Hamilton – Original Broadway Production (Please let me know if you have any difficulties watching play.) Building Broadway: HAMILTON Set Designer David Korins , Adam Savage Explores Sound Mixing of Hamilton , Behind the Scenes With a “Hamilton” Stagehand Who Told Stories With Lights , and From “Hamilton” to “Harriet”: Costume Designer Paul Tazewell On Telling Story Through Clothes.

Once you have read and viewed all texts, play and videos complete the following:

Explain the Design Process and What Design Does
Research the education, background and experience of a Designer or Technician that worked on Hamilton
Why did you choose this Designer/Technician?
Explain what their element of Design is (e.g. Lighting, Costume Design, Sound Design, etc) and why they decided to pursue that career.
Choose and describe one or more scenes in the musical to explain their Design Process. Be specific.
Provide sound, light sketches, and/or visuals of their designs (feel free to attach links)
